Doors

Over the past few weeks I've been fascinated by doors. And not just any doors but unique and interesting type of doors. I know, I'm just too silly! But, I'm on a quest to finding as many interesting doors as I can. Here is a picture of one ,with my lovely daughter.

My son loves his Batman bandages!

Change of Plans

The last time I wrote something new, I thought I was going be laid off work. Last minute changes were done and I still have a job. It took me a while to get in the mood of working again since my mind was set to be a stay at home mom, a blogger and an artist of some sort. This just proves that in life you never know what will happen but its always good to remain positive about changes. In about 3 more months I will be in the same situation again... not knowing if I will have a job in the new year. But I hope this time I can manage to maintain focus on my big goals in life, be optimistic and  keep my faith very strong.
I didn't get to finish any of my task/ to do list that I had set for me this summer but I did many other things that I didn't know would do. I still stayed busy with my family and friends and went to several fun places. My kids had birthdays this summer too! And my husband and I celebrated another year of marriage!  My faith grew stronger as well and I couldn't ask God for more. I'm blessed.

Project List

This morning I woke up with positive thoughts in my mind and well rested. This morning is also the third one I go without drinking any coffee at all. Wow! I still cannot believe that! But never the less, I feel good. I have so many projects/ideas going through my head. I'm trying not to give myself to many projects so I may stay focus and productive. So I narrowed it down to 4 projects for now and since I'm also trying to keep my children busy I have included them in a few projects. The list is short but sweet:

  1. Read the book, "God Chicks", write about it and share the book with a good friend
  2. Read the book, " Flipped", with my daughter and write about our favorite character
  3. Make play dough with my toddler
  4. Take an art class
Well I have a good feeling that these things will get done. I'm not giving myself big tasks here. And since this year I will have the summer off, I'm looking forward to completing new projects and sharing them with you.

Paul McCartney and Eric Clapton - Something (Concert for George) (HQ)

One of my favorite songs of all time. I heart music, especially music that makes you smile.

My morning coffee

What would I do without my morning coffee? Probably go crazy and be in a bad mood for sure. I can honestly say that I stared to drink coffee at a young age and I haven't stopped ever since...unless I'm prego..then I have to take a break from it. I love coffee! I love it in the morning, I love it in the evening and underneath the moon...What can I say I love it! People that know me, know not to mess with my coffee. People that know me, also know that I know if a cup of coffee taste good just by smelling it.And 99% of the time ,I'm correct!
This morning I'm drinking fresh french pressed coffee. The brand, Dunkin Donuts! The coffee smells and tastes so delicious that I feel like walking down Sunset Blvd. while enjoying the beautiful shades of blue the sky has to offer. Maybe someday I will take a break from my busy schedule and do so...

To everyone, enjoy your morning coffee and let it take you to where you least expected.

Last night

I had some time to myself. I took advantage of having to go to the bank and treated myself to a Frozen Yogurt. Then I took a nice walk down the trendy streets of SP. I stopped at a local video store and bought the movie, Chapter 27. I'm a John Lennon fan and I enjoy learning about him but I felt kinda odd buying a movie that related to how he was killed. The movie was a good deal, 5 bucks! For those who have no seen Chapter 27, its a must see. I mean it is a sad movie but if you heart John Lennon, I recommended. It is a movie that will make you mad and frustrated, these are the feelings I had while watching it. I kept hoping it would end differently but sadly it doesn't and John dies.

On a happy note, I also rented the movie,"Lennon Naked", a movie based on John Lennon's life with the Beatles and his love affair with Yoko.

This movie I have not yet seen but I heard the actor, Christopher Eccleston is wonderful. I'm excited to watch this film and possibly learning more about Lennon. I will let you know how my thoughts about it.

Anyway, After a nice weekend with my family, I was excited to have time to myself and stubble across interesting movies.

And I guess buying Chapter 27 was not a bad idea after all.

My Book of the Month

About a year ago my friend Glenda, who you may be hearing a lot through out my posts, and I created a book club. It first started out great, then after a couple of meetings it was a challenge to set a time and date that worked for everyone. And yes, I neglected my book club as well as my blog, but as long as I didn't neglect my kids, right? Anyhow, This year I said, " I'm going to start something and follow through with it". So, I went back to reading a book I had stared to read about 3 years ago but never finished. The book is, Wonderland Avenue by Danny Surgerman. This book captured my interest because its about this kids who becomes friends with the legendary, Jim Morrison, who is my Idol. I'm Proud to say that I have been reading the book. My book club meets at the end of this month. I know I will be done with the book by then, I have to be!

I'm going to do it!

I have been neglecting my Blog for so long but following new ones. I'm learning about the process of blogging and brainstorming on what I want my blog to be about. So far, I have been inspired by so many blogs I've been following and started to follow. Life for me is so busy! As I'm sure it is for most. But this year I told myself to give time to those things I love to do. I will get stared with those projects and begin to write about them and hopefully develop some time of blog that will also inspire people as I have been motivated and inspired by others. I'm excited to get re-stared :)
I have to not be afraid about writing and sharing my experiences and creations.
Thank you Glenda for pushing me to follow my goals. This entry is for you, G.
